SOLEMARK was built from five years of wear.

This brand did not start with a marketing plan. It started with a pair of leather shoes I bought in Dubai over five years ago.

I am a long-time customer of the same Dubai shoemaker. I bought my first pair of their leather shoes for the office, not expecting much. Five years later, those same shoes are still in my rotation — resoled once, polished often, and still drawing compliments. The leather has softened the way only good leather does. The stitching has not given way once.

Over the years, I added more. A black Oxford for formal evenings. A pair of brown Chelsea boots for the weekend. A pointed-toe boot for the days I wanted to look a little sharper. Every pair has lasted. Every pair has aged better, not worse.

I built SOLEMARK because the man next to me in a meeting, at a wedding, on a flight — he deserves to know about these shoes too. There is no good reason a UAE professional should pay GBP 400 for a Loake when a pair this well-made sits quietly in a Dubai shop, ready to be discovered.
